On-Line Metronome

Use this on-line metronome while practicing your picking and rhythm work. It will dramatically improve your technique and sense of timing. Simply select a tempo and click ON.

Set a very slow tempo, around 50 bpm, and play your picking exercises or solo licks to the click until they are perfect. Then, advance the tempo until you eventually have the piece up to speed. Don't cheat, and play every note perfectly. Your chops will improve immediately!
