Stuie

Stu Winkelman is a professional guitarist based in San Diego, California. He is a GIT (Guitar Institute of Technology) graduate and long-time touring and recording veteran. He is currently working with several bands and is available for touring, recording studio session work, player substitution, and advanced guitar lessons. Stu's schedule is very flexible, and he is often available on short notice.

Stuie can gig or record with a variety of acoustics, electrics, and dobro. Playing techniques include standard picking, finger picking, slide, and two-handed tapping. Because of his studio experience, Stuie can learn tunes or entire set lists at the drop of a hat.

Stuie has recording studio experience on both sides of the glass. He is an accomplished studio player and also has hands-on experience inside the booth, engineering at the recording console. His computer expertise includes recording with ProTools and other software-based recording packages.

The Rocket

Jamie Winkelman is a recording engineer based in San Diego, California. She has experience running live sound and recording both hardware- and software- based projects. She is proficient in ProTools and other software-based recording packages.

The Rocket is also experienced in marketing and public relations. She is an established graphic artist, web designer, and author.

Together, Stuie and The Rocket specialize in digital recording using the industry standard Digidesign ProTools, fully equipped with hundreds of software plug-ins that emulate stacks of rack-mounted effects.
